Movement breakdown

Below is a description of each camera movement currently available on the app. We’ve included some clips of what each corresponding shot looks like in a final video to give you a better idea of what to expect.

Follow Far

The camera will follow you from about 15 m away and keeps you framed while you move.

 

Follow Close

The camera will follow you from about 10 m away and keep you in frame while you move.

 

Hover High

The camera will hover 30 m above the scene and keep framing you while you move.

*tip: Great if you want a large perspective of what’s happening on the ground!

 

Hover Close

The camera will hover 7m above the scene and keep framing you while you move around.

*tip: Perfect for jumps.

 

360 Far

The camera will revolve around you and constantly frame you. You must decide when it stops. The radius is 20 m so keep in mind that you’ll need some space.

*tip: This is a kind of selfie, but with a context.

 

360 Close

The camera will revolve around you and constantly frame you. You must decide when it should stop. The radius is 10 m so you’ll need some space around you. A selfie with a context, same as its far away version.

 

Slide sideways from right

The camera will slide along an imaginary rail while aiming at you. The distance between you and the camera is about 15 m.

*tip: Well-suited for awesome backdrops (sunset backgrounds) but mostly delivers if you get creative with it.

 

Slide sideways from left

The camera will slide along an imaginary rail while aiming at you. The distance between you and the camera is about 15 m.

Slide in – Towards and Away

The camera will fly towards or away from you at a constant altitude (7m) until it stops in front of you. The movement starts/ends at a distance of roughly 20 m so you need some space.

*tip: Tunnel vision with you at the end.

 

Fly in – downwards

The camera will frame you as it flies down until it stops 7 m above you. The movement starts at 35 m height and distance so make sure have plenty of space around you.

 

Fly out – upwards

The camera will continue to frame you as it flies up until it stops far above. The movement ends at a 35 m height and distance so make sure have plenty of space around you.

*Tip: If you want your story to have a crazy zoom-out, this is the movement you need.
